No!

Mr. Paanchvi Pass had an interesting point to make on my previous post ... when in love, put your innerself out there, be vulnerable beyond anything comfy. This point brings me to another thought ..... Fear of Rejection.

Why is the word "No" so fearful to hear! Is it because it will be a punch to our ego? Or do we subconsciously know what reality is but don't want to face it? Hearing the NO definitely gives us closure ... but sometimes I feel we go out there and receive the NO "after" we are already on the path to closure. Does this make any sense? You have to be there to know what I am talking about! :-)

I deleted my first comment....bcuz I didn't finish it and some how it went out....alright....lets do it once more.....

I have learned this thing the hard way....that the sooner you accept a NO (ground reality is what I call it) the better it is......I'd say that this putting your self out there is needed to an extent...but one should be careful while going down this path...bcuz if you think that the other person won't understand....then that NO is already in the mail....and you will soon receive it......

Sometimes while trying to make a relationship we do somethings which we are not 1000% sure of.....well its my feeling if you are not sure.... then one of the two will give up sooner or later......

If you do put yourself out then be prepared for giving or accepting NO....you have to keep that mindset...and I guess its hard to explain...its more like....you jump in the pool and then learn how to swim......you can't learn just by watching it.....

Or don't think too much.....just keep going through these phases......if you are here now...you will be there sometime.....

Alrite lets get back to work.....

Yeah it is better to hear the NO .. learn to accept it and move on. But do you sometimes think that maybe if you had put yourself out there after a while instead of so soon, things would have been different? Maybe trying to find the answers too quickly could do more harm than good?

Every other situation is different, sometimes it may seem that it would have been totally different only if I would have waited for a little while or other wise if you do wait for that little while and still the same outcome...then it makes us feel..that it was so good for such a long time...then why did this happen...(ending).....

So in truth there is no such thing that it would have been better after a little while...I wish it was as simple as an engineering problem....but the only thing to look at the end is that in these situations you learn some things which no one can make you learn...

The rule should be to be honest from day 1 and then look at it as a learning experience....independent of the outcome...(its easier said than done)

On second thoughts....I have felt sometimes...that....if I would have just waited for a little bit...things would have been different......

I know what u mean Areille! Sometimes you feel that you should just confront the other person about their feelings and well, if they have a no to say, then fine, just take it and at least that's a signal to move on...but I've met so many people who just need much more time to evaluate/realize their true feelings, and sometimes pushing them for a reply might end up you getting a No which could potentially have been a yes given more time??

Guess it's a risk we all have to take!
